About this work

Yosemite

Yosemite shows rock walls and a narrow valley drawn with hard lines and flat colour. The picture uses clear edges and simple bands of tone to build a quiet landscape. Eyvind Earle makes the trees and stone look cut out and still. The view feels measured and calm.

The fine art frame keeps the picture flat against the wall. A light frame sits on a dark wall, or a dark frame on a pale wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. The matte surface keeps the tones even when the sun moves.

It fits a stairwell above the steps. From the landing you see the big rock bands first, then the small outline work on the trees. The light from the hall window lands on the lower edge.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
