Gabriele Munter
Gabriele Munter was a German Expressionist painter and founding member of Der Blaue Reiter, whose bold, simplified landscapes and portraits use strong outlines and flat colour to create images of vivid emotional power. Her long relationship with Wassily Kandinsky shaped the development of German Expressionism.
