Morgan Russell

Morgan Russell was an American painter who co-founded Synchromism with Stanton Macdonald-Wright in 1913, creating one of the first American abstract art movements based on the theory that colour and music share a common expressive language. His Synchromy paintings are vibrant, sweeping compositions of pure colour rhythm.
