Blue — Fine Art

A broad field of blue covers most of the sheet with room left open at the edges. Sam Francis often worked in this colour field style, using washes and open space to let the colour breathe.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The blue sits in soft sweeps rather than hard lines. Blue by Sam Francis keeps the paper quiet around those painted shapes.

The white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. That white border holds the blue field steady and keeps the colour from spilling past the sheet. You notice the frame first when you stand near the door, then the blue field fills your view as you step closer.
