Cubes — Fine Art

Cubes by Sam Gilliam puts simple shapes into a shallow field. The blocks sit near each other with space between them. You can see the edges and the colours that fill each form. The picture stays with what is in front of you.

The fine art frame gives the sheet a clean edge on the wall. Choose white, wood, dark wood or black to set the tone for the work. That frame edge holds the shapes in place and keeps the eye on the blocks.

It works well on a bedroom wall. From the door you notice the shapes first. Up close you see the marks around each block. The room stays calm with the blocks on the wall.
