Dandelions

Yellow dandelion heads fill the picture against a soft green ground. Small petals and stems spread across the lower part. The scene stays bright and open, with yellow set against the quiet green tones. This is Dandelions by Claude Monet.

A fine art print on matte paper keeps the yellow tones even and the green areas from shining under a lamp. The white frame gives the image a clean edge on the wall. The black frame puts a sharp line around the bright flowers.

In a reading corner, the yellow heads stand out against the darker books on the shelf. You notice the broken petals and the green stems first, then the softer ground behind them.
