Fall

Fall by Jasper Johns uses thick paint laid in layers across a plain field. The surface shows scraped and brushed passages in muted reds, greens and grey. The marks look built up by hand rather than drawn flat. The title points to a season without showing a tree or a leaf.

The print sits on fine art paper with a matte surface that keeps the paint tones soft. A light frame on a dark wall lets the scraped passages stand out without a shine. The paper carries the layered paint look without a glossy finish.

It works on a kitchen wall above a counter with cool light. From the doorway you see the scraped paint passages and the muted reds. Step closer and the small build up in the paint shows.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
