Fog Light — Fine Art

Fog Light shows a narrow passage of land holding a single lamp against a pale sky. The ground is drawn with thin lines and the sky stays clear. Eyvind Earle built many scenes this way, with flat colour and clean edges. You see the lamp first, then the low line of land beside it.

This print comes as a fine art print with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. The white frame keeps the pale sky open, while a black frame sets the lamp off from the wall.

Hang it near a window from across the room and the lamp glow reads as a small bright point. Step closer and the thin ground lines become visible. From beside the doorway the dark line of land holds the bottom of the scene.
