Frost — Fine Art

Frost by Claude Monet gives a cold ground under pale sky. Snow covers the low fields and the air feels still.

The paint sits in thin layers so the colour stays quiet. The fine art print uses a matte paper that keeps these soft tones from glancing back.

A light frame on a dark wall lets the grey ground stand out. Hang it lower on a kitchen wall where the morning light is small. From the table you see the white stretches first, then the thin blue line at the top.
