Grainstack Sunset — Fine Art

Grainstack Sunset sits in the impressionist tradition of outdoor painting, where a subject is built from quick painted strokes rather than sharp outlines. The stacked hay under a warm sky keeps that loose handling of light and colour.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The paper is matte so the bright tones stay flat and there is no shine under a lamp. A frame finish can follow the room: a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture.

It works on a study wall beside a desk and a lamp. From the doorway you notice the broad colour blocks, and near the desk the paint marks stand out.
