Lattrait — Fine Art

Lattrait - 1978 shows a figure drawn in dark paint on a pale sheet. The shapes are broad and the edges stay soft.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. You can read the face from across the room and the hand marks up close. Bram van Velde worked in a post war abstract painting style with loose paint and open space.

The white frame gives Lattrait - 1978 a clear edge on the wall. The clean wood edge keeps the dark paint from spreading into the surrounding field. You notice the soft grey edges first in a hallway with a single bulb over the stairs.
