Snow Trees — Fine Art

Snow Trees by Eyvind Earle places a row of white pines over a cool blue ground. The eye moves along the line of trunks and rests on the dark marks of the branches. Wide open space sits to the right of the trees.

The artist is known for clear outlines and flat colour bands in his landscapes. This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper keeps the snow tones from shining under a lamp.

The blue ground stays even and the white marks stay soft. You see the line work clearly without a glare. The print fits well on a blank wall above a console table in an entry hall. From across the room you notice the row of trunks first, then the small marks on the branches.
