Untitled by Andre Derain — Fine Art

Untitled works by Andre Derain often use bold colour strokes and broad shapes. The picture here follows that Fauvist habit. Strong marks sit against a plain ground. The artist built scenes with thick paint and clear outlines.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The frame holds the paper flat and the back panel keeps it steady on the wall. The print comes assembled when the ready to hang option is used.

It fits a reading corner above a low shelf. From the chair you see the big colour blocks first. Up close the individual strokes show their rough edges.
