About this work

Wall Forest

Wall Forest by Sam Gilliam sets a quiet layout where the eye settles on open ground and a few vertical hints. The shapes do not crowd the sheet, and the upper half stays open.

The fine art frame gives the picture a clean border on the wall. A white finish keeps the edge simple so the pale tones sit without a hard line around them.

In a study hall, the print sits above a desk where the standing marks line up with a shelf edge. From the doorway the open field stays calm and the vertical hints catch the light.
